JAMALA TO PRESENT THE NEW SONG IN THE GRAND-FINAL OF EUROVISION-2017
The Ukrainian singer Jamala will perform twice within the Eurovision-2017: in the First Semi-Final on 9th May and in the Grand-Final on 13th May. In the First Semi-Final Jamala will sing her song Zamanyly (They Decoyed) and present the symphonic version of 1944 song; and the Grand-Final will witness the world premiere of Jamala’s new single I Believe in U.
Jamala’s song 1944 won the international song contest Eurovision-2016. By now, her performances in the semi-final and final have totally gained over 26 million views on YouTube, while the official video of 1944 has been watched by up to two million times. The singer’s album of the same name was released in Europe and the US in the summer 2016 by the greatest record-label Universal Music Group. In the First Semi-Final of Eurovision Jamala will perform the symphonic version of 1944, created especially for the show.

Zamanyly (They Decoyed) has been composed by Jamala together with the ethno-chaos band DakhaBrakha and released in late October, 2016. The song was awarded YUNA-2017 prize in the “Best Duo” nomination.

The major premiere of the forthcoming Eurovision is the presentation of Jamala’s new single I Believe in U. The performance will feature Jamala’s team of the Voice of the Country TV show on “1+1” Channel: Anna Kuksa, Naile Ibraimova, and Kemi Oke. As has been reported, the video of I Believe in U was made in Portugal two weeks ago. The director is Igor Stekolenko. The video shootings lasted three days and were made in Lisbon, in the city of Sintra and the province of Alentejo. The new single release and video premiere are planned for the mid May.
